Seller Guide

How to list cards, get paid, and build your reputation.

Getting Started

  1. Create a free Cards-BST account at /register.
  2. Complete your seller profile with a username and (when ready) payment details.
  3. Navigate to Sell and create your first listing.

Grading Your Cards

Accurate grading builds trust and reduces disputes. Use these standard condition grades:

NM (Near Mint)Virtually perfect. No visible wear. Suitable for grading submission.
LP (Lightly Played)Minor edge wear or light scratches. Still excellent visual quality.
MP (Moderately Played)Noticeable wear, whitening, or creases. Still tournament-legal.
HP (Heavily Played)Heavy wear, bends, or staining. Often a budget/collection piece.
DMG (Damaged)Significant damage — tears, holes, or water damage. Disclose prominently.

Listing Tips

  • Use clear, well-lit photos — show both front and back for high-value cards.
  • Include the full card name, set, and set code (e.g., "Zapdos — Base Set Shadowless").
  • Price competitively: check recent sold listings on TCGPlayer or eBay for market value.
  • If the card has any notable imperfections, disclose them in the description.
  • Offer both Buy and Trade options to maximize interest.

Fulfilling Orders

  • Ship within 3 business days of a confirmed purchase.
  • Always package cards with a sleeve and toploader inside a bubble mailer.
  • Provide a tracking number when available — it protects you in disputes.
  • Funds are released from escrow after the buyer confirms receipt (or automatically after 7 days).
